Description: This webinar will present an overview of current literature and information on adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders, including information on sensory processing, motor performance, and co-morbidities. Sensory integration intervention implications and strategies will be discussed. Additional resources for older populations with ASD will be presented.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this webinar viewers will be able to:
- Identify at least 2 characteristics of sensory processing in adolescents/adults with autism and their implications for intervention.
- Identify at least 2 characteristics of motor performance in adolescents/adults with ASD and their implications for intervention.
- Identify at least 2 co-morbidities associated with ASD and their implications for intervention.
Course Level: Introductory. There are no prerequisites for this course.
